Privacy Policy
This page explains what data oxalpha.life collects, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and who else touches it. The short version: we run no accounts, we sell nothing, and the chat you type is proxied to OpenRouter so OxAlpha can answer it.
Last updated: August 2026. This site is an independent community resource about the OxAlpha model. We are not affiliated with any AI lab or with OpenRouter, and we do not know who operates OxAlpha itself. This policy covers only what this website does.
What we collect
Chat messages
When you use the free chat, the messages you type are sent from our server to OpenRouter, which routes them to the OxAlpha model and returns the response. We act as a proxy. We do not require an account, an email address, or any other identifier to use the chat, and we do not link your conversations to a profile. Treat anything you type as visible to OpenRouter and to whoever operates OxAlpha, and keep secrets, credentials, and regulated personal data out of your prompts.
Hosting logs and analytics
Like almost every website, our hosting provider records standard server logs: IP address, user agent, requested URL, and timestamp. We also use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand which pages people read. Analytics data is aggregated and is not used to identify individual visitors. We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not sell or rent any data to anyone.
How long we keep data
Chat messages are not stored in a database by this site; they pass through our proxy to OpenRouter and are held in memory only long enough to stream the response back to you. Hosting logs rotate on our provider’s standard schedule, typically within 30 days. Aggregate analytics are retained indefinitely because they contain no personal information. Note that OpenRouter and the unknown operator of OxAlpha may retain prompts under their own policies, which we do not control.
Third parties
Two third parties process data when you use this site. OpenRouter receives every chat message so it can reach the OxAlpha model; its own privacy policy governs what it keeps. Vercel hosts this website and therefore processes standard request logs. We share nothing with anyone else, and we never send your data to a third party for marketing.
Your rights
Because we keep no accounts and no stored conversations, there is usually nothing for us to delete. If you believe we hold personal data about you in logs or elsewhere, you can ask us to locate and remove it. Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights to access, correct, or erase personal data, and we will honor reasonable requests regardless of jurisdiction.
Contact and changes
Questions about this policy go to hello@oxalpha.life, or see the contact page for details. If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes, such as adding a new third party, will be noted prominently. For more about what this site is and who runs it, read the about page.
